Bob Hess, Chair of the Community Emergency Radio Association (CERA), will be discussing CERA's Neighborhood Radio Watch program at the Arrowbee Summer 2024 Community Potlock Picnic hosted by the Four Corners Land Owners Association (FCLOA).

Attendees will learn about the General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) and how GMRS radios can be used in CERA's Neighborhood Radio Watch program to stay informed and safe during the ever increasing danger of disasters events that can trigger power outages and disrupt cell and internet services.

Bob is also the Chair for the Coloma-Lotus Fire Safe Council and will also provide an overview of the Council's goals, efforts, and activities.

El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, Office of Emergency Services (OES) will also be briefing the Arrowbee community about their 3 evacuation routes, what to expect if there is an evacuation called, how to prepare for an evacuation, and the County's use of the Perimeter Map platform.
